It seems that 720 people can enter each day.
It may be subtle. I think that it would be better to be lined at 10 o'clock if surely entered
Wait one and a half hours
It was said that it was 2 hours and they lined up, but it took about 90 minutes
Couldn't use
Even one person is fine, it will be guided to the table seat of two people. I think whether it is just right if ordering 1 to 2 dimensions and rice items.
At any given time, there was a queue. It is an image that sticks in before opening.
It is 11: 00 ~. However, since it is lined up before opening, early advance will be better.
Simply amazing food, well deserved of it's Michelin star. The food is great, the wait is quick and the service is friendly. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of food and having a Michelin star. Make sure you try the pork buns and if you don't have time to wait use the take away window next to the restaurant to get their signature pork buns.
Best authentic Hong Kong flavor you can get.Super cheap price.Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!Only that you have to wait for an hour+I wish they open the new branch soon.
Don't get the hype, food was ok service was fast. I have had better dim sum just a block away.
Good food but long wait. Very quick to get food out. Avoid weekends and lunch time. Price isn't bad but if looking for large proportions based on price not the best place.
They had some great dishes. Like lotus leaf chicken and baked chashu bun. Just the long line was a bit frustrating.
Tasty quick relatively cheap dimsum, we waited for about 20 min on Sunday evening at around 8:30pm, any time earlier and the wait is significantly greater. Not sure if it's worth that long of a wait, otherwise a great place for a quick small bites.
Super fast service, and good food! You’ll have to wait in line, as they don’t take reservations, but the wait isn’t usually too long!Everything we had was great! We’ve never had fried milk before and all of us enjoyed it!
Always a Long queue but worthwhile. The only shortcoming was to queue under the sun/rain without shelter and it’s very tedious in harsh weather. You will have check off the food ordering list while queuing, approximately 3 groups before your turn comes. You will be given the menu and the list to have them ready before you enter. The space in it was pretty small and hard to order many food all at one go but you had to upon going in. Overall food was good, except the queue...
The pork bun here is insanity. An absolute must-try. Love every bite. Other menu items are good, but pork bun is just woooow ðŸ˜ðŸ‘. I have lived in Tokyo for years, and this one item is my absolute favorite thing to eat in the city.
The marketing of this restaurant is a little deceiving. Talks of the Michelin star rated restaurant which is referring to the Hong Kong branch and not the Tokyo one.
Very good food, but also very long queue.
The wait was worth it! Pork buns were my favourite dish by far and the deep fried milk was very delicious!
Owns a Michelin star for Dim Sum and you'll see why. Pork Bun is exceptional. Brilliant order system has you select items while in line then food arrives as soon as you are seated. Godzilla statue guards the square.
A famous Hong Kong dim sum restaurant in front of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. Always find so long long queue to enter that I feel discouraged to come in, but it seems much easier and shorter to wait around 3pm on weekdays. Will try next time.
Food was very good, at least the ones we tried. A tad more expensive than expected, I guess because location near midtown? Queue at 7pm wasn't bad, only a 15-20 minute wait. However if the queue was 1-2hrs as I've seen in other reviews, I would suggest your time would be better spent elsewhere.Bottom line - good food, a tad more expensive than it should be, but don't wait an hour+ to eat here, go enjoy your time somewhere else and come back later.
The best food I have ever eaten. Went to this restaurant twice while I was in Hong Kong, and were super excited to know that now they have a branch in Tokyo too.Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf and bun with pork are must. If you want to save money, don’t order drinks because they will serve hot tea and water for free.Staff is very kind, so waiting in long line is not a big deal ( and I never wanna wait in the line for any restaurant, this one is the exception). One tip, try to eat and go since many people are waiting, so this is not a place to spend long time, max one hour. You should write your order on the paper and they will bring the receipt while you are eating and later you’ll pay at cash register.I had pretty big dinner, couldn’t eat all, and take out here is possible so I don’t feel anything is wasted. The dinner cost without drinks was about 6500 yen for two people, but have to say we had to pack a lot
One of the best dim sum places in Tokyo! They do not have a huge selection but they enough. They serve dim sum all day (lunch and dinner) and serve pu'er tea. Their fried milk, Osmanthus jelly desserts, sago dessert, shrimp dumpling, barbeque pork buns, Radish cakes, crispy shrimp roll were my favourites!! I tried to order the congee and rice bowls but they were already sold out :(.... My only complaint is that we had to wait for two hours! And in the end they tried to passively aggressively force us to leave. They tried to be polite but it did chip a bit of the great experience...
Michelin star restaurant. There's usually a line and a wait to get in--and it can get long. Nonetheless, it can move along at a steady pace. Food was delicious. The price was affordable. It great for sharing and the food can be quite filling.
Recently opened branch of this dim sum restaurant in Hibiya. Unfortunately they don't take reservations so expect to queue outside for probably an hour (the Japanese seem happy to queue for restaurants); but not something Europeans are used to. The food we ate was good but we queued for 55 minutes and wouldn't again.
Food is good but not worth lining up for. I came on workday afternoon around 4pm and didn’t see a queue.
I’ve known Tim Ho Wan forever since the first time I tried (and queue at their store back in HK) - the great thing about them is knowing I will have the same taste of pork bun, shiumai, and all the others whereever I go. Avoid the peak lunch or dinner time (and don’t look up 😅 - they forget they have ornaments up on their ceeling to dust off )
